Security is core to how we build and maintain WordPress websites at Atgler. This page outlines our general approach to security — both for this website and for the client sites we manage through our Website Care plans.
How We Approach Security
- Regular updates — WordPress core, themes, and plugins are kept current on sites under our care to reduce exposure to known vulnerabilities.
- Hardened configurations — we apply access controls, firewall rules, and configuration hardening as part of our build and care process.
- Monitoring — sites under an active Website Care plan are monitored for uptime and security issues, with alerts for anomalies.
- Backups — automated backups are part of our Website Care plans, so a hack or bad update is never more than one restore away.
- Secure connections — we implement SSL/HTTPS on sites we build.
Reporting A Security Issue
If you believe you’ve found a security vulnerability on this website, please report it responsibly via our Contact page rather than disclosing it publicly. We’ll investigate and respond as quickly as we reasonably can.
Data Handling
Information submitted through this website (such as contact form entries) is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We do not store payment card details on our own servers — any payment processing is handled by established third-party payment providers.
Scope
The security practices described here reflect our general approach. Specific security measures for a client project (including any compliance requirements such as PCI-DSS, HIPAA, or similar) are addressed on a per-project basis and documented in the relevant service agreement.
